ABOUT ME
4/28/13: Completed the 68 mile Tour de Forts in Jacksonville. Improved my average pace from the same event in 2012 by 8.4% - and this event was 7 miles longer.
9/23/12: Did the60 mile Ride 4 Ronald in Orlando to raise money for Ronald McDonald House's central Florida charities.
4/29/12: Rode the 61 mile Tour de Forts in Jacksonville.
On October 1. 2011, I did the 'Bike MS' tour from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach, FL. It's was 86 miles and the event raised over $1 million for Multiple Sclerosis research.
9/11/11: Did the 70 mile route of the 2011 Endless Summer Watermelon Ride in St. Augustine, FL (which is hosted by the North Florida Bicycle Club). It was a blast and I broke three PBs.
Did this year's Tour de Palm Springs on 2/12/11. Did the 55 mile route and was 7.76% faster than my previous best time.
On September 12, 2010, I was scheduled to do the 56 mile Endless Summer Watermelon Ride in St. Augustine, Florida. My first tour in Florida. I felt so good that I ended up doing the 69 mile tour and breaking four Personal Bests. Really happy with the results!
In April 2010, I did the 'Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized'. I got to ride Stage 8 of the Tour of California (a month before Lance and the pros did) and it all benefited the fight against cancer.
Did the 55 mile Tour de Palm Springs in February 2010. Rode with 'Team Ethan Peck' to raise money for the Desert AIDS Project.
October 2009: Did 65 miles in a charity bike ride (BikeMS) to raise money for the fight against multiple sclerosis (1200 riders raised over $1,150,000).
Won Ford's 'Punt, Pass & Kick' contest (football) as a kid, played pro tennis from 19 to 27. I cycle and do the 'Tour de Palm Springs' bike ride annually (last 12 years). I've previously played softball in the NAGAA league (went to the World Series in S.F. - THAT was fun!). I've wrestled, too, and have 12' by 10' mats at home. All in all, I'm bordering on being an endorphin addict and you'll mostly find me glued to the seat of my bike.
