Been working out for a few years now. First it was mainly to loose body fat. Now that I am near my goal weight I have decided to add some muscle and then to a cut before the Aussie summer :)
Ran a half-marathon in July 2012 in 1:54:17. Pretty good I thought for my first ever official long run :)
Swiss/Canadian here and just recently moved to Melbourne. Lived in Edinburgh for a few years. Happily together with my wonderful guy for 14 plus years and married for 11 .
Been struggling all my life with weight issues and have done a few yoyo cycles, mainly because I used to just restrict calories to loose weight, which is not sustainable. So now I am trying to go about it correctly with increased exercise and healthier eating. In other words a lifestyle change rather than a diet.
I do weights 2 times a week, mostly free weights. Cardio is 3 times a week. Usually HIIT for 25 minutes on elliptical trainer, treadmill, stair machine, or running etc...
