I’m your quiet, low-key kind of a person who is extremely passionate about the things and people who matter to me. I love to travel and since I have summers off, spend most of my time on the road. I did almost everything important in the early phase of my life in Québec and in French, but have now gotten very interested in South America and the Spanish language so spend a large amount of time in Argentina and Brazil. The latter is requiring a bit of Portuguese to be added to my repertoire, but I have fallen in love with Brazil as well and I figure that learning a language is a small price to pay for access. I love reading, the theatre, discovering new restaurants, and movies. I also love to be outdoors. I don’t have a large circle of friends, but the ones I have are incredible and most of them have been with me for a longtime. My goal in life is to find texture. That is to say that I like things to be different so that they challenge my ideas and propel me forward. Good health is my goal with regard to exercise; I am not nor do I want to become a body builder. However, I enjoy doing physical things and would gladly welcome someone into my life that would help me explore more ways of being active.

I don’t have any preconceived notions about what a potential partner should look like, but I do have a weakness for guys taller than I am. This said, I do need someone who is intelligent, interested in the world, and able to love me even when I’m a little crazy –that’s small “c” crazy. I am also looking for someone who will push my lazy behind out of bed when I whining about not wanting to get up and go skiing. As far as new friends, I’m open to people who have a good sense of self, bring something to the table, and who are kind.
