ABOUT ME
I've "recently" finished my Ph.D. in Biochemistry (Dec 09) and am... well after having my government job written out before they could finish hiring me... looking for a new non-benchwork position. Right now I am working two jobs for less than half a paycheck. This means I may be a bit (or a lot) slow in responding to emails. I hope this situation changes soon and I can get a job down in DC/MD/VA area, but there's no certainties in this economy and political climate.
I have more hobbies than time, that range from wood and leather work to gardening and cooking. You name the craft I've probably done it. I even run a small online handcrafting business. I grew up on a hobby farm and love camping and backpacking. I'm comfortable in the outdoors, and cities make fun places to visit. Name a topic and I can probably discuss it, and probably will, for I have as many interests as I do hobbies.
