Haven't updated my profile in years. Here it goes.....

My name is Corey and I've been a member of RJ on and off for about 5 years now. Started with the name Remington Steel, then Remington and now finally Remi.....Remi is much easier for the whisperers. You're welcome guys. (Remington Steel was the name of my cat that just happened to die the day I joined this site)

First and foremost the most important thing in my life is my family. I didn't realize just how much they really mean to me until my father passed away suddenly 5 years ago. His passing made me realize how precious and special every moment with a loved one is......I pray every day that he knows how much he meant to me and how proud i was of him. I strive everyday to be half the man that he was. RIP dad.

I am an Industrial Firefighter and PFSO (port facility security officer) for a major oil company here in Canada. It sounds so exciting and dangerous, but in fact i work for one of the safest industrial facilities you possibly work at......Although the fires are HUGE and HOT, they are very rare and will most likely be extinguished by our equipment rather than ME. As far as the anti-terrorist watch.......lets face it guys I LIVE IN BUTT FUCK NOWHERE CANADA. So for lack of better words I'm a "just in case" guy.........so no saving kitties from trees or fighting Ninja's. Sorry gays.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to workout. It's my medicine. There is no better feeling in the world than breaking a plateau. I've drastically changed the way I workout the past few years. It has always been about being the biggest and strongest dude in the gym. A really bad back injury (slipped disc pinching on sciatic nerve) and smaller injuries have made me revisit the drawing board as far as my training goes. I've stopped trying to bench press cars and added drop sets and super sets into my routines......Lost a lot of weight (fat AND muscle), but i feel 100% better. The hardest thing for me is accepting that i cant do what i could 10 years ago. Its time for me to accept what i have to work with and mold this broken body into something I can be proud of. I'm pretty proud thus far.....

Most people comment on the tattoos. I am trying to say the things I cannot say with words. It is my form of expression. Some people write beautiful poems, sing inspiring songs.......I get tattooed. You don't have to like it, but please respect it. The story is about my father. His life, struggles, death and where I hope him to be now. Most of all its about PRIDE. I've never been more proud of anything. Gonna upload some more pics soon. Almost done the right sleeve/chest plate.

I dunno if i would consider myself OUT or not.....I don't hide who I am, but at the same time I don't advertise it. My sexuality is a very private and personal side of me and I don't see the need to put it on a billboard. If people know then good for them. Those that matter know i like "the dick". LOL

I am not a religious freak but I am a man of faith. I believe that faith is a very private and personal journey that needs to be traveled and found (or not) on ones own. I don't believe that someone should be preached to or taught what to believe. Organized religion is a very BIG business.....that being said my faith is based upon my Roman Catholic upbringing. Weird eh?

Lastly I'd like to thank all of the people that I have befriended here as well as apologize to all the people i may have hurt along the way. RJ has been a special place for me through some very tough times. It has been a world I could escape to when MY world became too much.
