Hey. My name is Rand (I go by my middle name). I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I enjoy sailing and playing guitar. I am studying to become an architect and minoring in historic preservation. I love to laugh and have fun. I don't drink, so you wouldn't catch me at a bar and I am not really a fan of gay parades. I support them, but I guess it's just not my scene. I love walking on the beach with my iPod, watching the world go by. I love to listen to music and just hang out with friends.

Here is my little blurb on architecture since people ask me why I like it so much-

I'm very interested in how different forms and masses can come together to create something that is less building and more sculpture. I like to think of architecture as the manipulation and carving of light upon space; as a static representation of a musical composition, poised to alter the emotions and response of its occupants. I find it amazing how architecture can become a symbol, a landmark, even change the social climates of regions. It leaves its footprint on history, and one can almost hear the buildings previous occupants from years ago still wondering the halls, having the same discussions of today in a different context, yet within the same space.... i don't know if that all makes sense, haha.
