I am a graduate student at the University here and my passions are literature, languages, music, environmentalism and activism. I'm crazy about learning new languages (I speak seven languages and am learning two more!) and exploring different cultures.I love reading and am planning to finish reading all the top 100 books from the modern library list by 2018. I'm also adding cultural geography to this list, because in the last three years, that area has come to fascinate me even more!

I care for people and empathize with others easily. I am a good listener and I love to learn from others. I believe in the inherent goodness of every being and hence am considered naive. I seek inspiration from other people's achievements and derive strength from their stories of overcoming their challenges. Not one to let people in very readily, but when I do I'll care for you like crazy.

I am a people person and love chatting and making new friends. Recently, I have begun working as an activist and have been busy establishing an LGBTQ student support center at my alma mater!

But that's just the good side. The evil-me is a critic, loves to play the devil's advocate, will lie occasionally (and very convincingly, mind ye) to win an argument, will give you a lot of (unwanted? maybe not, but definitely unsolicited) advice should you ever be in trouble, suffers from the delusion that everyday I am becoming more and more perfect, suffers from bouts of OCD when cooking or cleaning and the list goes on.

I have made some really great friends out here. I have learned a lot on the forums and in the chats that I have enjoyed with some members. I look forward to knowing more and learning more. I am looking for articulate, intelligent and caring guys who can teach me something new!
