My latest book is "Tweakers: How Crystal Meth Is Ravaging Gay America." Currently collaborating on a book with a retired medical school professor on how to provide affordable health insurance for every American. (At present, 50 million Americans are uninsured with 5 more million added to the rolls of the uninsured every year.)
I'm a buffed history buff :) I write nonfiction history books, including "The Opium Wars: The Addiction of One Empire and the Corruption of Another" (recently published in China!) and "The Knights Templars: God's Warriors, the Devil's Bankers" and "To Kill a King: A History of Royal Murders and Assassinations from Ancient Egypt to the Present."
