KICK ASS I love multi-sport

2009: 4th May, completed first marathon 3.47.28. i will be doing another one, i will be going faster, i will love it just as much.......but i need new legs right now......ouch

2008:
Tri season wrecked due to work and shingles, so a lovely 160mile charity cycle on no training will have to do instead.

2008 was a bad year for training, time to scratch it off and start again methinks

2007:
Just Finished a full Triseason, 5 olympic and 2 sprint, 8months training and 7 races, Totally worth it!

1. I am possibly the most stubborn person you will ever meet in your life, but yet i have come to realise that i am the giver, anything, anytime, i can help, i will. I don't say this out of pride, i say it out of understanding of the way of myself. I am happy too be that way, regardless of the consequences, which sometimes take too long to heal, but life is for doing, not watching or waiting, but experiencing to all heights and lows

2. I hate boundaries.

3. I feel connected to the water like the sky is blue and the grass is green, i am happy in water, at peace and alive. I could sit in the shower all day, or swim in the pool for ever.

4. I came second in the northern ireland Tae Kwon Do Sparring championships in my category when i was 18. I was beaten my a man twice my age and half my size

5.I am wondering if i can come up with 25 different random things about myself.

6.I give great advice but bearly listen to myself.

7. I saved a pod of pilot whales in New Zealand and sometimes when i meditate i see them swimming in my head.

8.I have never been as peaceful in my soul as when i was in New Zealand.

9.I drove through the most scenic part of New Zealand in the dark, yes thats right folks the Hasst pass in the dark.

10.I enjoy being naked on holidays.

11.I have surfed with Hector's Dolphins

12. I can drink infeasibly large amounts of guinness and red wine and can concurrently channel Budda for the deepest philosphical chat about life the universe and everything. If i could remember most of it the next day i would be eternally happy.

13. I love to cook.

14. Some day i am going to dress up as Dr Frank'n'furter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show and nail that opening number of his. Tim Curry's best role ever!

15.I hate Peas and custard, but not exclusively together

16. I have run 8 triahtlons, 2 Charity cycles, 120km and 160miles and am planning on doing my first marathon in 2009.

17. I am a Japanese anime fan, bleach, naruto, bring it on! I love Scrubs, Space, Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie and the Mighty Boosh and have them all.

18.I can listen to almost any type of music, almost.

19.My honesty is my strength and my weakness. Combined with my stubborness it can be a lethal cocktail, but can also present a bond that is unbreaking.

20. I talk a lot of shit sometimes. But i have friends that listen and force me to pull my socks up when i need to.

21. The most fun i had last year was camping on the Isle of Wight. Or drinking with Kevin in London. Or surfing in Wales. I had a lot of fun times.

22. I sometimes don't do the things i should and a lot of the times do the things i shouldn't.

23. Like most irish people, i have drinking stories to fill a book shelf. Memorable ones being: 3 and 1/2weeks drinking around Europe with with my best mates. (In fact anytime drinking with them, except that time me and Willie nearly kicked the lining out of each other) Drinking in London with Franklin from realjock. The Galway Triathlon Summer party in Carna. Waking up on the pier in Akaroa in NZ. Galway. yes just Galway. Introducing Stevie from Realjock to Irish Street culture in Dublin. Oh and the 6nations finals on St Patricks Day in Galway. Fantastic

24.I have one Tonsil, how random is that!

25.I have loved and lost, but never lost love. I am a deep believer in the prose 'Desiderata' 'For do not be cycnical about love, for it is as perennial as the grass....'
