I already have a partner so I am just looking for honest-to-goodness friends on this site.

I like to work out, run, swim, bike and hike almost every weekend. Love Austin's Barton Creek Greenbelt. Thank you Austin. I wish we had real hiking opporunities in the area however. Love hiking in AZ, NM, CO, UT and NY/VT (my home area).

I also enjoy a little nudist social activities at Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis, on the northwest edge of Austin. Nudist does not equal sexual activities to me.

For sports, I enjoy rodeos, college basketball (Go Duke and Villanova) and football (Go Penn State, USC and BC) , pro hockey (Go Habs Go!) and some European football (Chelsea and Sevilla), too.

I've traveled to almost every corner of the US, except the northwest and some of the Gulf Coast, and even some in Europe and eastern Canada.

I love downhill skiing and miss the Adirondacks, Green and Laurentian Mountains of my youth. Hope to ski a lot more in years to come. Went to Utah the past two years-LOVE ALTA!!!

I also like reading about geo-political issues and different cultures. Currently am on one of those fits where I'm reading lots of mysteries (D. Hammett and P. Highsmith).

I have had a bad year due to different reasons which caused me to be distracted from my physical shape goals. Hope to get leaner and build up my endurance on the running and hiking trails again.

Active (and that's a not a position reference) guys who are open to different thoughts and not overly conservative or liberal. The kind of guys who can hike a trail while talking about different political and social issues without turning it into a major argument are "my kind of guys".

I also like men who can talk college basketball or football, rodeo, pro hockey and European football (soccer) a lot.

Possibly looking for friends to take trips with us in the future to hiking or skiing destinations around the US.
