    Description

    11 Nov '11, finally hit my goal of 78kgs. Legs are getting bigger, but putting on a bit of fat everywhere else. i think my metabolism is finally slowing down, that, and because i'm now 8 months smoke-free and have been piling up the food--8 months ago i was 68kgs. im thinking my next goal is 86kgs. For no good reason.

    first and foremost, i'll be real and say, in the words of the owner of Manhattan's David Barton Gym, that "my motto isn't to be healthy. it's to look better naked." (1994)

    i've been through more than 5 different gym routines, from going 6x a week to 2x a week now. i find that the more i rest inbetween the more muscle mass i gain (more is relative to what nothing i gained when i went 6x a week 2 years ago). that said, i'm now at my peak of definition at the moment but my weight fluctuates too often for comfort.

    i'm not a food lover. my taste buds are muted and i don't crazy over fine dining. i can't taste the 'hint of red oak' or a 'tinge of aluminium' in red wine, but i do love my asian cuisine. for me, food is more importantly broken down into how much carbs, proteins and essential vitamins they provide, not so much about how much fat it contains. i do love my fatty food, and i'm endowed with a metabolism all the anorexic models would die for. unfortunately for me that goes against what i aim to achieve: Mass. don't tell me i'm lucky when you're looking from outside the window because like you probably are, i too am engaged in an endless race to perfection, only i'm coming from the other end.

    i have passionate interest in gender studies and i'm an english language, and linguistics major at monash university. i love rowing sports, and if you look closely i'm missing an ab because i rowed for three years in a dragonboat team on only one side. it irks me that it just refuses to separate despite the ridiculous amount of abdominal exercises i do every gym session.
