I've always been told that it's important to look up at an ~45 degree angle throughout the squat to protect your cervical spine. It wasn't mentioned in this article. Why?
Also, I've ben trained to tuck hips/squeeze buttocks at the top of the squat to maximize glute contraction. Is this important?
