ABOUT ME
Short of that, I am a pretty happy/outgoing type who likes talking to/getting to know all types of people. I have achieved a certain level of professional/academic success and for that hard work and result I am proud. I like making people laugh, I like challenging people's preconceived notions about others and life, and I like the fact that there's no such thing as an ending in this life (short of dying) but a million works in progress and endings/beginnings. I love to cook, especially for friends. Every place I've ever bought to live in has been because of the kitchen!
I know that some of the above sounds a bit esoteric, but I think I'm best defined by the question "Why?" I ask it a lot, both of myself, of others and of the world around me.
GUYS I'M LOOKING TO MEET
I do think that there's a shortage of nice/good guys out there; not because people aren't good, but because a lot of us have forgotten how to be good in ways that are visible to others. I like guys who say please and thank you, who have an attitude of curiosity vs. thinking they know it all. I like guys who are humble but who have a sense of drive and purpose and are proud of their accomplishments in ways that don't minimize the accomplishments or ambitions of others. Nothing is sexier than a genuine smile - not one posed in front of the mirror for the cell-phone shot, but one that shows unabashed happiness.
In short, I am drawn to people who know who they are and are happy with it - whatever stage/phase of life that finds them in at the moment.
