Friends and family tell me all the time that I am such a catch, a guy shouldn't even hesitate or question as to whether or not I am worth the pursuit. Bless them...for as I fear they are perhaps biased, I suppose deep down, I also hope they are right.

I would like to find someone who really wants to get to know me…to learn about me, understand me, love and cherish me, and appreciate all the things that I am and what I can bring to their life and a relationship with them. It takes time and effort on behalf of both parties to really get to know and learn about someone...so if you aren't interested enough in another person to invest that time, please move on. It may sound like a lot to ask for, but it is what I want to give to someone myself, and aren’t all these things what make a successful partner in the first place?

I am looking for someone intelligent, witty, funny, and able to carry on a conversation. Practical knowledge and common sense is much more important to me than “book smarts.” I want someone who is brave and confident about life, and not afraid to take the time and effort required to get to know another person. You must take an active interest in your fitness level and make daily efforts to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. No closet cases, either…be out and proud of who you are, to everyone. In case this is a concern, when it’s time for bed, I occupy the bottom bunk. That is what I am comfortable with, it is the way it is, and I can own that.

I would like to meet other decent guys who have their sh*t togther, a good head on their shoulders, and a positive outlook and direction of where their life is going. I have realized recently that because of my intense focus on my job and my home, etc, I have neglected to cultivate friendships and have reasons to get out, do things, and have fun.
