When it comes to fitness and health, I am a firm believer that the pain of discipline is less than the pain of regret.
I'm an active guy who is comfortable spending the afternoon with a book, but typically tend more toward trying to squeeze too much into the time allotted. Love biking (steel hardtail mountain bike) and burn calories at spin 4-5x a week year-round. Also ski, swim, sail (wet sailor), and walk a lot. I like being in shape. Not just because it looks better in the mirror, but mostly because of how it makes me feel. Lifting bores me, but I force myself to do a modest bit of it several times a week. Love to cook (and eat).

Mostly just looking for friends and online works, so if you're halfway across the country, that's okay. Would like someone to help me focus on core strength stuff -- that's where I really need to work I think. I feel intimidated about talking to a trainer about it.
