I have had an extraordinary life, up to this point. I have traveled widely in the U.S. I have made friends all over the country, many of them right here online. I appreciate honesty, integrity, a quick wit, and an appreciation for fitness. You don't have to have 18-inch arms to get my attention, although I can be as shallow as the next guy.

I am passionate about movies and have a large DVD collection. I wish I didn't have to resort to watching movies at home as much as I do, but it gets old going to the theater alone and I have been doing too much of that lately. As far as that goes, I highly recommend "Up" and "The Proposal." They are two great films I have seen recently.

But at the end of the day, I am looking for a special someone who can understand my eclectic tastes, my spontaneity, my Liberal bent (sorry, GOP), and my occasional need to just be alone. Some take that as being aloof. No, not at all. But I work in a high-pressure job and sometimes I need to separate myself from the world at large and decompress.

Likes: guys with buzz cuts, Golden labs, black raspberry ice cream, Burn Notice, BBC America, cuddling on the sofa, the Oregon Coast, baseball caps, and really good coffee.

I don't do webcam or phone. Sorry, guys, I am over that--big time. And if I can post a face pic, so can you. Or at least make an effort to show me what you look like. I don't need or want to see a picture of your privates. We all got 'em. Some are big and some are small. At the end of the day, I would rather know your brain is bigger than your dick.

I am not looking for a PhD or a ripped bod, but if you happen to have both, you know where to reach me.
