Time for an updated profile.
It's now Sept '09, I am 155#s...trying all different kinds of workouts and eating stratagies and comming up the exact same as in previous years...not sure where to go from here...just frustrated with the whole thing..I have been at the same weight for the past 6yrs roughly and nothing I have tried so far has budged me out of it.
As of March 18th, 2008 I weigh 146pds @ 13% body fat. I was 165pds Jan 1, 2008 @ 19% fat. The pic of me in the blue shirt is @ 160pds and 17% fat. The camping pics are from the summer where I was 152pds and 15% fat.
My weight has been all over that place because I quit smoking 3 weeks before new years and went up to 165pds. In order to lose the weight I did the strong and lean workout and strict eating from Jan 1/08 to Feb 15/08 and lost 13pds, and from 19% body fat to 15% body fat. On Feb 15/08 I went on winter vacation and stayed active and watched what I ate and lost another 6pds and went from 15% body fat to 13% body fat. The mirror pics are as of today. My current goal is to keep my body fat the same, but increase muscle mass. If I don't gain any weight that's fine until the fall when I will re-evaluate what I am doing. My plan is to continue the R.J. muscle building program, which I am in the 3rd week and eat the same amount of calories to maintain my weight. I'm wonder what will happen.
It's Aug 29/08, loved the muscle building program, but because I caught the flu for 5 weeks and had a family crisis in the middle of it I didn't get the full benifit out of it. I started smoking again, but had quit after 2 wks. As of today I am still in ok shape with taking the summer "off". I worked 3 days a week for July and Aug and worked out 3 days a week taking classes at the gym. Starting next week I am going to try a HIT training

program which I have never done before. I want to break my 152pd barrier that I haven't been able to go over without gaining tons of fat. A friend told me to do the South Beach Diet, but I am guessing you have to modify it for weight training. Oh, I also took some kick boxing classes over the summer...very tough, but I loved it. Would like to keep it up, but can't fit it in my schedule right now.
