i'm honest, open and trusting until given reason to feel otherwise. i have a pretty demanding job, but i make time for the things and people that matter to me. i love the outdoors and pretty much any physical activity (i grew up in the Northwest, duh). i also like working out, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, random-ass spontaneous adventures, river rafting, riverboarding (hit me up if you know what that is), skiing and snowboarding... and i'm always up for more. If you've got something fun to turn me on to, sweet.

SNIP!!! There goes the long diatribe on bush and mccain... i'm proud of my country. Our generations have made history. Finally, we again have a thoughtful, eloquent, intelligent president.

i've seen a lot of people on here who say they live life with no regrets. Good for them. However, i say: Anyone who has no regrets, if such a person truly exists, is either a genius who's perfect in every way, or is someone who doesn't learn from his mistakes. Just my take.

Also, i expect to meet in person at some point, so if you're too insecure to put up real pictures, or you have headless ones, or none at all, please don't message me.

P.S. If you're a firm believer in organized religion we'll likely have a fun debate at some point (i enjoy a good-natured discussion). For example, my children are going to learn that, while spirituality can help people find inner happiness and peace, organized religion is responsible for the vast majority of hatred, bigotry, violence and wars in this world and the planet will be a better place when it's gone. Your turn.

Above all, i want to meet people who communicate with honesty, maturity, and sincerity. i like people who are open about their feelings and share their past and experiences. If you don't have a sense of humor then i will probably offend you. Someone who opens himself to his friends, and who has pride in taking care of himself will hold my attention more than someone who doesn't. i have, and prefer to make, life-long friends, and i know what it takes to keep them regardless of where we may be in life, or in the world. i'm always up for meeting new people - where else can a new friendship start?

If you're interested in dating you should know i have goals in life, and my partner is welcome to join in, and share his with me, too... and yes, those do include having kids at some point. If that thought scares you we probably aren't a match for more than just some fun. Speaking of fun, i'm not inhibited. i'm very sexual, and enjoy that side of me. i'm very confident in myself, and i expect my friends - and especially someone i date, to be, too. Life's too short. Grow some balls and communicate with maturity. i'm interested in someone who'll challenge me to keep growing throughout life, cuz i'll be challenging him, too.
