Fit guy. Run 50-55 miles per week now, and I have run seven marathons, umpteen half marathons, 10Ks, duathlons), weight train 3-5 hr per week. I have known John for a couple of years now, met him through a mutual friend. I hope to meet him in real time instead of only in virtual space some day. As you can see from his pics he likes to chase tornadoes as part of his interest and career in meteorology. This is like riding the waves of a hurricane, takes someone braver than I. Besides his obvious bravery the guy is a true gentleman and he always answers my sometimes boring notes with interest and enthusiasm. Yeah, someday I am going to show up for one of his birthday parties and turn him over on my knee to give him a good spanking, hee, hee. That will teach him to not show up in Europe to visit his good friend Alex. Now, do not be shy, stop by and say hello to this wonderful guy!!

What can I say, but the good professor is much better in person than what the mere internet can convey. He is of course what the others have had to say and more, as I suspect most will know from having communicated with him. Anyway I don't have much to add, except that he is a classy, sexy man, and one you would want as a friend.

Not only is John the best meteorologist around, but he is a wonderful, sincere, and friendly person and so easy to to chat to and hang out with - I am fortunate to know him and to live close to him so that we can hang out on occasion. Thoughtful and a true gentleman! Thanks for attending my birthday shindig and adding that picture of the two of us to your pics!
