Beginner needing guidance

    Hey guys,

    I am 5'9 155

    I want to tone my body and build up my arms. I have excellent lower body strength (thank you plyometrics) but have no upper body strength. I want to get lean but not look skinny ya'know? Suggestions?

    Follow the link above - it's Real Jock's Strong and Lean program. I did it half way through and it is excellent for people who want to be fit enough to participate in a wide variety of sport activities but not grow big muscles, which is one of the reasons why I stopped following it.

    If you just want to create your own workout plan, then I think doing a lot of high-intensity cardio in general is good. As for the weight training part, use lighter weights than your max, but aim for higher reps (12 and above per set).
