One of the things I get a kick out of is when straight people unwittingly use terms that mean a different thing to us in a humorous way. I am from Kansas City originally and the Johnson County, Kansas public transit bus line is called "The JO." Imagine if you will a fleet of busses with "The JO" painted on the side, of bus stops signs and benches that say "The JO." It's pretty funny.

Another one I hear a lot: "In baseball tonight, the Twins topped the Indians."

And I love how margarita salt is "rimming salt."

Anybody got any other fun misuses of our terms?

the montreal transit system which is now the STM.... used to be the STCUM. now it's not a gay reference. it's a religious fluid.
