Can anybody tell me how to include a picture (as opposed to a link to a picture) into an RJ forum post? Many thanks.

See those options above the text box (when creating a message)? There's one for bold, one for italics, one for underline, one for quotes, or for images, and one for links. You want the img (image) one...
Like say i want to show a picture of the unicorn at this website http://mrbarlow.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/unicorn.jpg

Instead, I can just embed the image by copying the url and putting it between the brackety things. Like so.unicorn.jpg

Pictures will often have an option (if you right click them) to just view the picture or picture link or some shit. This option is best.

Or you can right click pictures and go down to "Properties". About the fourth line down will be an address.

you need to upload them to an image hosting service like tinypic ( as already stated ) or image shack ( there are others ... avoid hotlinking ). Create a free account, upload your picture, the host will provides various codes to link the images to the site of your choice.

This unicorn stuff is making me HORNy.

Seriously now, what is a good photo storage/image hosting site that will let you save naked pics? Not necessarily fuck pics, but just naked guys, with each other, often erect.

(I know you can't post naked pics at facebook, I've gotten nasty-grams from them about that which threatened to close my account. I just need a place to store them so I can post pics here of hot guys.)

Where do you live? In Florida you don't need to register out-of-state unicorns.

I wonder if they are anymore lenient with body shots than Photobucket?

Sign up for free accounts at Gaywatch.com & Lifeout.com
    Create some photo albums
    Upload pictures
Copy/Paste the url picture codes from the albums

Do you have the RIGHTS to distribute the pictures you have in mind?
The two sites I mentioned above will yank the pics and/or cancel your account if you use it to redistribute someone else's intellectual property.

Yes, I wanted to know so I could post pics of my dogs, too. The previous instructions didn't take it far enough, I still had to figure out the rest. Here's how to do it, soup to nuts - the stuff I figured out is in bold, with the most important tip in red:

    - go to www.tinypic.com
    - create account
    - upload your pics to that account
    - click on pic you want to upload to RJ or another site
    - look to the lower left of the screen to the "Grab Your Code" section
    - copy what's under the box that says "Direct Link for Layouts"
    - go to your RJ post (like this one)
    - press the "img" button in the tan box above "Text Size" and you get this:
    [img]IMAGE ADDRESS GOES HERE[img]
    - now paste over the "IMAGE ADDRESS GOES HERE" part and your pic will post, like this one of my bad boy:

When you upload a picture from a digital camera it's usually a HUGE size to accommodate the detail of the image. You've just got to re-size the picture. Here's a program I use to do so.. it's incredibly user friendly, and you can work with single pictures, or re-size whole folders of images (useful when you're pulling lots of pics off a camera)

    Download link
    http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/

To post an image online.. a standard size is somewhere from 600x450, or 800x600. You could also just mess around with it until you find a size you like. icon_razz.gif Hope this helps.

As stated in a post above, you have to use a photo editing program to resize your pic. Many of the online image hosting services will have these tools. I usually do the resize in my Mac before uploading to Photobucket.com, because I keep a lot of pics on my own hard drive, against the day that Photofuckit cancels my account for some transgression.

BTW, I could in fact view your photo, but not in the RJ forum window. I simply dragged it out of the window onto my desktop, and viewed it from there. And here it is, resized by my Mac to what iPhoto calls Medium size.
