AN RJ FORUM STALKER: To Be Psychoanalyzed based on Pictures and Posts

I thought whether I should say anything about this.
I have pretty thick skin, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to say something...

I had posted a thread, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON RJ: You have a bf". I had been asked by a couple of guys during previous weeks about why I was online when I am involved with someone.
My response was socialization and to chat and share with others my interest in fitness and other topics.

Several guys agreed with me in that thread and talked about why they are online (similar ideas).

It was then that a RJ member (now former member) named "Xsport03" did an analysis of me on that thread... why I'm here, my objectives based on my pictures, my posts, talked about my relationship and "my massive ego", called the discussion of my relationship in posts "pretentious" and rambled on longer than any post I've ever placed on this site... including why I should be spending time with my bf rather than on here.

He also pointed out that to socialize you don't need pictures... that one can socialize without them on here. He even made some remark about the possibility that I had placed a sock in my swimming suit in my main pic.

I noticed this post today and he was already deleted from this site. I never talked to him, never even noticed this man. He explained he had read a number of my posts and even those I have done "daily". I assume based on this he knew me and could criticize me. But he was gone before I even knew he had written it.

The reality is, he doesn't have a clue. Doesn't know what I do for a living, what my time requirements are or the fact that my bf and I don't live together, we have a long distance relationship. He has no idea who I am or what or why I'm here... and its very easy to be critical isn't it?

While creepy, what this has shown me is... that we do get ideas of others here based on posts... I have, mostly positive views. But while we take positions and may criticize others views... to criticize someone's objectives and approach on this site is really over the top and shows a recklessness that isn't worthy of those on here. I hope it can be avoided in the future.

What ever Kansan. We all know you are a stinky jerk face who isn't an absolute pleasure to read on the forums....

Ick, this person sounds like a jerk best to be ignored. Sorry he bothered you.

Hmmm, I would have said two socks actually.

We like to think that we have a pretty good handle on the people we socialize with on here. So I raised my eyebrows with the remark on your 'massive ego'. I haven't seen that in you at all. And I'd like to think I'm on the mark on that one, basically because I haven't read anything from you that would suggest anything other than a friendly, kind person.

I think it's possible that some people lack certain social skills, or the ability to analyze what people say, certain nuances that can be apparent, even online. So perhaps for someone like that, they can read a sarcastic post you've made, a good-natured teasing, and totally read you the wrong way.

Brush it off, the guy obviously has issues.

dunno yuo get trolls wherever you go, some people you just push their buttons and have sen it all before and had it worse!

hey just wait until they online stalk you and then make the transition to a real life stalker thats some scary shit! Especially when they start talking about you like a familiar and make reference to stuff you have put up elsewhere or even worse remember posts from 2 years ago! Its kinda unnerving

But thats one thing I learned to my regret with some of these weirdos out there, never put up stuff you dont want to come back and bite you on the arse.

But isnt it just bizarre that some people can take offence at a bunch of pixels on a screen. I think in most cases they are just simply projecting their own issues onto others.

But either way I dont get the current mode on here of a contumacious view point, its getting a tad boring and doesnt look big.

I find it humorous that he criticizes how you spend your time online, while on the same token he spends much of his time online analyzing you.

Yeah, but that's ok because he's single, HndsmKansan's not. Apparently people in relationships aren't allowed to have computers or friends.

That does it, now I'm determined to invent a way we can shoot paintballs at people through the internet. That way, if we see them walking around somewhere, we can recognize 'em!

So when is the sock going to be put on Ebay? Honestly I just think he's another one of those people on here who get off on tearing others down...
