For the past week I have had issues staying connected on my laptop. I use a Sprint wireless. card. The issue I am having is the once I connect to Spring my connection only lasts 5-10 minutes and the I get "Interenet Explorer cannot display the web page". The Sprint card is showing a 80% connection.

Do you think this is a connection issue or is it something on my laptop interupting the connection?

    I appreciate and advice/help!

Single, just to help narrow down the possibilities:

    1. Have you tried connecting over WiFi or connecting directly through a LAN to see if you are getting the same error?
    2. Have you checked with the Sprint website to see if there is a new driver for your card?
    3. Have you tried deleting the temporary files in your internet browser cache?

    try this:

1 - open Command Prompt (if you use vista or 7, click Start then type "cmd" and press enter. if you use XP, click Start, Run. now type "cmd" and press enter)

2 - type "ipconfig" and press enter

3 - in front of Default Gateway, find the IP address (192.168.x.x)

4 - type "ping" and then the IP address and then "-t" and press enter (there should be a space between "Ping" and IP address and "-t")

5 - if "Reply from 192.168.x.x ....." keeps showing up, it means there is no problem with your connectivity. if you see "request timed out" or "destination host unreachable" it means there is a problem with your connectivity.

6 - when you get "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" try other programs to see if they work properly through your internet connection (like Yahoo! Messenger, Firefox, download managers, etc.) If they did, it means there is nothing wrong with your internet connection. If they didn't work properly, then there is a problem with your internet connection.
