I'm not much of a fan of anything remotely entertainment gossip related.

And I certainly think he should lay off outing people.

I love him and hate him. It's an on/off relationship. I must say that I am very respectful of him for completely being himself though.

I notice when he loves you it's usually favorably press. That would include the Spice Girls and David B.

When he hates you he's horrifying - Jesse Metcalfe and Clay Aitken.

    I love and hate him.

I hate how he is such a douche bag

But I love how much power he has over mainstream media. He might be one of the most power gay people around today.

I think the fact there is a forum about him says something. Just because he loves Kylie and the Spice Girls he thinks everyone else should too. For the most part...not really a fan of his, but I do like how he calls out people like Larry Birkhead and other "fame whores."

When I see this man report on REAL news! Then I'll take him seriously! Spend time in a war torn country!

Interview the milions of kids raising kids in Africa due to the fact that they have lost both parents because of the global aids crisis. That's news.

Until then when I will not be compelled to rip my eyes out of their sockets when I see him or blow out my ear drums out when I hear his voice!

When he interviewed Tiffany Pollard of " I love New York"! Entertainment journalism had reached a new low.

Someone wrote that he has a lot of power of the mainstreme media really? What Power? I don't see it.

I would not count as being the most Powerful gay man to date.

I have listed a few of the most powerful Gay Men, who just happen to be in the entertainment industry.

Bruce Cohen, Dan Jinks & Garth Ancier.
They have all produced major films or TV shows in Hollywood.
Perez Hilton is not even a blip on the radar.

Hey! Miss New York and I share the same birthday. We're astrological twins!

Anyhow, I like to read Dlisted instead of Perez Hilton. Michael K. is way funnier. The celebrity gossip becomes quite irrelevant when compared to his commentary.

I am going to go with HATE, no wait, lets make that HATE WITH SEETHING, MALIGNANT RAGE. The self professed "Queen of all media" icon_evil.gificon_evil.gificon_evil.gif He is a fat, nasty, untallented troll that makes a dime running other people into the ground. If that is being yourself, then I would rather be someone else... Oh, and he rips off all his stories from TMZ.com. All the girls in the office constantly run around shreiking "oooooh, did you read Perez today?" It makes me wish I could projectile vomit at will, and hose down the gossip mongers around the office.

I like and hate Perez Hilton, and his stereotypical ways. The only thing likeable on his part is that he's actually a representitive of a SMALL portion of gay society; though I hate the fact that either he or the network that aires him, doesn't concider acting more like the rest of "every men", out in the gay community, and actually Do Us Some Justice!
But also hate him because he's famous for dishing celebrity gossip, and I don't give their antics the light of day, no matter how ammusing or whatever...

Ducky44: I respect what you're saying, but that is not what Perez is in the business of doing. He does celebrity gossip. And no matter how you twist or construe it, he does spread a LOT of influence. As Heath2977 put it, there are a lot of "girls in the office" who read Perez. It was like this at an old job of mine also.

He wouldn't go from having a blog to being on TV if he didn't have influence. And as far as the producers you mentioned, I'm sorry to say it, but I'm sure that Perez Hilton is much more a household name than all three of those men combined.

Frankly, people don't like him because he has an opinion and is not afraid to express it. That's one of the things I love about him. Although I don't agree with all his opinions does not mean I have to hate on him for having one.

I used to work with the guy. Didn't think much of him then and certainly don't have a high opinion of him now.

well said. he is a slime bag and horribly mean and unfair at times.

but it's nice to see an open gay man with such power and following.

    Japultra:

Love him or hate him....I don't know him so I don't care one way or another.

It's his platform that I do not like. You this is how we have evolved as a people in the country and it's really, really sad and tragic.

Entertainment gossip....just makes me want to vomit!
Needless outing of peoples troubles is just bad!

As I said before we are responsible and only we can stop.

There would be no Perez Hilton or paparazzi if it were not for we the consumers feeding the frenzy. It’s just out of control!

I don't care for him. There is difference between simple observational humor and being catty and mean spirited. He is a truly ugly human being, and I'm not talking about his exterior.

I don't understand any market for celebrity gossip at all -- why does anybody care about the lives of the famous?. We are in the midst of one of the most important presidential races in recent history and the local news here in LA leads with the Britney Spears case. I have no interest in who is dating whom or what scandal pops up next. I love the arts, I am interested in artists as it relates to their work. He is kind of overly fawning, but that is why I like James Lipton's "Inside the Actors Studio." Or Charlie Rose. They actually ask questions about the work not about the gossip. The vapid entertainment media hates interviewing Tommy Lee Jones because he won't tolerate stupid, possipy questions. I wish the rest of the celebrity community would follow his lead.

As far as Perez Hilton is concerned, isn't it bad form to out closeted people? Aren't we supposed to be respectful and allow other gays to come out on their own terms according to their own timing? Hilton has made his name off outing famous people, which seems wrong for a gay person to do. Plus the guy perpetuates the worst possible gay stereotypes.

I have no use for Perez Hilton.

ZDrew's nipples were outed in his t shirt pic. I looked for it on Perez Hilton, but couldn't find it. Anyway, I'd much rather see pics of ZDrew than the Jonas brothers or whatever his latest crush is...at least my schoolgirl crush is over 18 and a hottie.
