Don't you think that MOST gays (we) are more open-minded when it comes to sex than Straight people?

    Why is that?

Most straight people don't like to talk about hardcore stuff like deepthroating, facials, you name it after years of being married and I've noticed that we don't have a problem talking about things like that even on a first date (that's been the case on my dates lol).

BTW I'm not trying to stereotype, I said "most" not all _____ are...

I think it's more of a case that we do more hardcore stuff than most straight people do. Therefore, we talk about the hardcore stuff more.

I dunno... my father (supposedly a good Catholic out of whom I have never heard the word "sex") likes watching cum-swapping videos of girls kissing... tossing cum from female to female.

At least according to the "history" on his internet account which I accidently stumbled upon a few weeks back.

If that's your definition of "open-minded," then sure.

I would say , as a generalization, gay guys are more open minded than straights because vaginal sex is the "norm" and we've already accepted the fact that for us the "norm" is, generally, anal sex which already is something considered kinky by most straight people i.e society.

With that in mind, since we've already stepped out of the normal sex bubble, most of us try new things with less hesitation...except I don't fit that generalization, I haven't got a kink (yet).

I'm gonna say yes. Gay people just tend to be more open with sex in general because we know everyone is doing it or has at least thought of doing something sexual. it's not that big of deal.

It's really all about the presentation.

lol, or the straights we hang out with. I think if you guys met some of the straight people we know, you'd either be horrified or completely delighted.

I still question the whole premise here: this dubious definition of "open-minded."

Yeah, I have some female friends that could make some guys blush with the stuff they talk about sex.

well, due to the fact that homosexuality is taboo to many people in general, the sheer act of a man having sex with another can be considered open-minded, particularly for those who identify as bisexual or straight.

Hmm - I think bisexuals would have to be the most open minded of all. Think about it, you would tend to have the widest range of experiences to choose from.

Many of the straight people I know seem pretty sexually adventurous. At least based on the things I hear them say.

I think there was a survey a few years ago that found that fundamentalist Christians were generally more into what we might call "kinky sex" than liberals were.

    One word.....WOMEN!

Gays have better, funner, more perverted sex lives because we are guys, guys(who are homosexual) can go up to each other in a bar as invite the other guy back to their place for fun without the likelyhood of being slapped in the face.

It's just because we are men, we have testosterone and higher sex drives, where as women are far less likely to look at porn, make porn etc among other things.

LOL yeah I know that's y it's italicized, but I meant stuff like cumswapping, felching, fisting (I'm not into fisting btw and most guys I know aren't into it either) or is that still vanilla for you? If it is, you should come to teach me some hardcore stuff, just for learning purposes icon_wink.gificon_wink.gif

    what about "sexually daring"?

and in response to the other posts, I would say that yeah some straight guys talk to their friends (stricon_cool.gif guys about sex and stuff but they almost never talk to their GFs about that so yeah, it must be that because we're all guys, we're more "sexually daring".icon_razz.gif

ive spent a lot of time in the gay and the straight worlds....
if anyone thinks straight people dont talk about hardcore shit...they have obvious never hung out with the majority straight college guys i know. the way they talk about sex....matches any of the forums ive seen here on RJ.
ive also met gay people who arent open minded about versatility of roles and think things about sex are very black and white.

in short. i think its pretty evenly balanced there are open minded straights as well as gays, and there are closed minded people on both sides.
