Funny thing about being lonely... you're only lonely if you don't like yourself well enough to be good company.
I am "alone" quite often...but seldom, if ever, feel lonely. I will admit, however, that I have felt LONELY in a room full of people. I'm never lonely when I KNOW that someone is thinking of me...and that they are always there for me when I need a friend.
If you're lonely... get out and take a walk or a drive...and just see the number of people who are far worse off than you...and get off the pity pot and do something good for someone who needs a friend, RIGHT NOW!

I found myself on craiglist's M4M tonight...and then came to my senses.

One of my favorite songs -- and favorite artists -- of all time.

And I've heard and seen a lot in my 100 years.

Don't worry. If you're a good boy and swallow, I'll let you listen to some Miley.

I was really hoping this would be a thread about Team America World Police.

Single right now and would love to be in a good relationship. I work in a very "people" intensive job and do not mind one BIT being alone. It's very nice to come home and unwind and not to have to talk to anyone at all.

A good book or the family guy... or debating people online is all I need.. I'm easy to entertain lol

Did you see the unedited version? The sex scene? I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. I couldn't breath for ten minutes.

I always moan that "I'm lonely..."

Then I stay home, because I'm too lazy to go out.

Whenever I feel lonely, I remember that having a relationship is a lot of work and comes with its fair share of drama. And that usually doesnt make me feel better. icon_smile.gif

This really is an amazing song. The lyrics are beautifully written, timeless, just as perfect as you can get.

I remember hearing this play over the speakers in the Ames Department Store in the late 60's when my mother took us shopping there. I associate this song with those times, and oddly, those little baskets you carry around in a store when you don't need a cart.

It's wonderful to have music to remind of us pleasant memories... at least, I hope it was a pleasant memory. icon_smile.gif

Hogwash. I love myself plenty and find my lunacy amusing however the stimulation of another perspective out weighs me agreeing w/ my own train of thought unchallenged.
