RESIZED TEXT GOES HERESo as i am opening my browser, it opens up to my BBC News page and the headline reads "G8 condemns Korea warship sinking" i am not only interested about what the G8 says about this past happening, but what the hell is the G8, which the reporter answers is a collaboration of 8 countries: U.S.A. (of course), U.K. (nonetheless), France, Italy, Canada, Russia, Japan and Germany. Don't we have enough with the U.N.?? So why do we have another group?? What do you guys think??

G-8 is the Group of Eight, the eight largest economies in the world. It's been expanded to the G-20. I guess they'll let anyone in now...

It was funny, back in the 90s it was the G-7. Then Russia was allowed in. The Wall Street Journal continued to call it the G-7, but they would say "The G-7 (and Russia)."
