His dancing was actually fairly spot on, even if it lacked the pop Michael had.

I'm sorry but that was definitely one of the BEST tributes to Michael Jackson thus far! even though he is a complete douche bag who can not be forgiven for what he did to Rihanna we can't deny that he is a great talent, he can never be michael or amount to his level but he definitely did an amazing job! However the crying in the end was a lil much, don't know if it was genuine but still! I know i actually cried during Michael's Funeral ceremony on TV when they performed "Will you Be There" and played his actual voice doing the monologue.....

Way to make a tribute all about you Chris Brown. I sure your "sincere" display of emotion will help people forget that you hit girls. Gross!icon_mad.gif

If you all gonna sit here and bash Chris Brown you might as well bash Charlie Sheen or Terrence Howard who both beat their wives and a lot other celebrity men who did in the past...i think people are full crap when they point fingers at a particular person just because of one incident that had happened. Everyone makes mistakes regardless of how severe it maybe, we ALL make them (Including everyone on this site) if you don't then you must be perfect. People need to learn to let go and forgive , yes what he did was wrong I'm sure he realizes the mistakes that cost him his career.

I'm not buying his act. Seemed very all-about-me. I hate being a cynic, but I don't believe his break-down was genuine in the slightest bit.

okay, after actually watching the "tribute," what it really did was show just how amazing MJ was. there is that certain je ne sais quoi that sets MJ apart from really good dancers. had MJ not had that "IT" factor, he would have disappeared sometime in the early 80s as just another pop singer.

chris brown took a huge risk in imitating MJ and it proved that he isn't as good as MJ...he's just another above average hack. don't presume to imitate the best if you can't get it done...otherwise, you are just pretending.

    Fake Fake Fake

I'm sure his record company made a deal with BET for his "comeback"

Shed a few tears say sorry about beating up that chick, all's good then, right?

I think Chris took his crying too far

Kid has talent, but he's no MJ

MJ was all about L.O.V.E. something Chris isn't

I couldn't watch it, for reasons that this was a sick and sad display and means to win people over with sympathy. "Yes, let's sympathize with the guy who chris browned a woman." And what's sad is black women are sympathizing for what his going through. Bitches are always the easy ones to fool.

    With honor-
You shouldn't make a blanket statement about all African American Women. Just because you have read and heard some women are standiing behind there are quite a few who do not. By the way women are the hjardest to fool they are born detectives. Thye just put up with a lot of crap and sissie are no diffrent.

I think his tears were real. He probably got caught up in the moment considering all he's been through over the past year and MJ being his idol. I think the tribute was pretty good as well.

Still though, do I think people should forget what he did...??? Phil has a point, but should that one mistake cost him his entire career? Sounds like a lot of people have decided it should. I haven't.

A mistake is when you leave the iron on and you just remember on you way to work, a mistake is when you forget to turn of the heat in your apartment agai you're on your way to work.

He beat another humanbeing a WAMAN and left her on the side of the road in Los Angeles wearing millions of dollars in diamonds.

Apparently it was not the firat time that he battered her either. His mistake is that he got caught!

I get so sick and tired of people trying to down play what this young man did. He is an abuser plain and simple.

And on hystical sobbing on television is going to change that. Should he being forgiven, but should the public forget, that's like asking if we should forget what serial killers do!

Say give the man an EMMY of an Oscar!
