Hey guys, here is a question. How ripe do you like your men to be? There is nothing like the smell of a guy after he's worked out or just come in from some yard work. Do you guys every get turned on by yourselves when you get ripe?

Okaaaaayyy...this could get a bit too much to handle for some, but here goes:

I am VERY much into smell...besides being very visual, SMELL is paramount when I am attracted to somebody. Does not turn me off in the least, and I am not just talking about armpits here.

Mind you, there's smell and then there's smell. There's the clean odor, the sweat and phermones and then there's the "have not showered in 2 weeks" odor. Or that god-damn-awful onion smell some guys have.

Funny, we tolerate soooooo much more from someone we consider hot, than someone we averagely like, or would not give the time of day to.

I've been known to slow down in the changing room, when I am next to someone hot, just to catch a whiff, either from his torso, feet or, and here we go, dirty underwear.

Yet bad breath is something I insist is fresh or even, moderately acceptable.

Have you ever notice the smell men give off between their shoulder blades? Most men have it and it adds to cuddling and spooning.

(Man it got awfully quiet in here all of a sudden.)

I'm all for whatever turns guys on.
BUT... if I can smell your BO while I'm stuck trying to do cardio at the gym, I shouldn't be forced to stop my workout because you think you are being hot and manly!! This HAS happened, and the odor was so offensive that I almost gagged.
Not every guy is into every other guys strong smells.

Hey Mike and Big, I agree with both of you! I also agree clean breath is always important, well there are those times like dick breath but that's another topic lol. I also enjoy that smell that only two men can make with they have sex, that's the biggest turn for me. Like the smells that my bf and I make together!!

Sometimes I love to sniff my 2xist undies when horny. Love the ball scent.

Hope to swap a pair of 2xist with another 2xist stud someday.

Sorry gents... but i'm not attracted by or interested in odors of any kind... not cologne, not BO... and not sweaty gym clothes... but, to each his own: whatever melts your butter... :)

I'll swear I first knew I was gay by the attraction to the smell of a gym. And while looks may get me close enough, the smell of a man will turn me on or off faster than anything else. In fact, I recall watching a study on TV where women picked men from pictures, and then were asked to compare their reactions to the smell of T-shirts worn for 2 weeks by the same men. They almost always liked the smell of the man whose looks they also liked. It's instinct. But whether it's that warm, yeasty smell of an armpit warm from sleep, the tangy scent of sun-drenched skin, or the clean fresh subtle aroma of a fine cologne overlaying the natural chemistry of clean skin, smell counts a lot for me. The sour odor of a stresed day at work, or that onion smell of bad hygiene, not so much.

I'm with HorsePower ... a little soap and maybe a hint of cologne get me going over some dank nasty smell. One you are getting some lovin' going, I little stank is inevitable, and that's fine.

Smell does affect my attraction but I am with horsepower. Give me a good looking fit guy walking by smelling clean, maybe some cologne and my head will turn to inhale more.

Under arm funk, or bad breath are deal breakers for me. That can end a date.

This may sound weird but the only body scent that I like is that of a clean but slightly sweaty groin area... that kinda bread dough like smell... thats hot.

Don't get me wrong guys, I love the scent of a guy fresh out of the shower. But sometimes that natural body funk can be a real turn on, esp when your about to get busy.

I like the clean scent. The smell of sweat also turns me on. Lets face it, there is the "good" dirty smell and the "bad" dirty smell.

I love the smell of my man after a day of hard work. Not the "I haven't showered for two weeks" smell, but the smell of his sweat and hard work icon_biggrin.gif

I love the smell of warm musky testosterone drenched scent as much as the next guy!
    BUT!
When it gets to the point were it smells like pee, a dirty wet dog, sour, or even the stench of feces(Yes some guys smell like that, EEW!!!), then, take a shower dude.

If the smell lingers in the room and I'm standing at the other end, then its too much.

    I love a fresh-scented guyicon_biggrin.gif

    +1
I used to live in Kingscross (Sydney) one day walking along I smelt a masculine smell, it was the hottest thing ever I almost got hard there and then and I had to find where it came from....
    It was a homeless guy!
He was dirty and a bit mentally challenged.
After that my ideas on man scent changed forever, mostly its affects on sexual arousal

The smell of a hot man is also how i knew i was gay.

THere is nothing hotter than clean but rank pits and ball sacs.

In fact if there is deodorant or cologne it just turns me off. I dont want to be with calvin klein or davidoff.

Just a man being a man. The smell of the gym sometimes is just beyond amazing. Testosterone and pheromones and pumped muscles is a magic mix.

I honestly think that as we get older that attraction becomes greater. If i cant smell you i might as well not be with you.

There is nothing too strong but dirty is different. Refrain from artificial scents and you will get an authentic response! icon_wink.gif

Too much BO is bad. I guess one day without showering is less than satisfactory, but tolerable.
