Message to Log Cabin Republicans: Please don't try to do us any favors. Stay away from this one. We don't need you fucking this one up.

I can't see this hurting. It's hard for me to imagine a scenario where a judge rules that Congress can't repeal it's own law.

I agree. They don't actually want the law repealed. Their real agenda is to force the Obama Administration to defend the law on a technicality. They hope that in turn will give Republican candidates a wedge issue to use with gay voters against Democrats. A very transparent tactic, but no doubt one that unsophisticated gay voters will fail to understand.

These sad Log Cabin Republicans are truly being manipulated by the Party like the tools they are. Bend over boys, you're about to get fucked, but we know you love it. icon_razz.gif

    OUCH! True, but still...OUCH...lol.

Yeah, I'm sure they think they are doing a good thing. It will blow up in their faces, screw us all over and the real Republicans will have exactly what they wanted from jump street. I see it all so clearly....why the hell don't they?

my last relationship was with a log cabin republican. at one point he was the youngest openly gay republican ever elected to public office in the usa. he was apeshit crazy. he could find a way to defend ANYTHING that defied logic (hence his political stances). he defrauded me out of $30k. i don't know if it was his predilection for explaining anything to his advantage that allowed him to do everything he has done to so many people, but if he is any indicator of what the others are like: log cabin republicans are dysfunctional to the point of becoming almost psychotic.

when they propagate the type of anti-logic they espouse, how is it possible for them to really understand reality?

i don't believe that all gay republicans are necessarily log cabin republicans, but log cabin republicans should be sequestered off and ignored (which is what the republican party does to them - the log cabin republicans weren't even allowed to set up a booth at the conventions, and the money they sent to the party was returned).

Delusional, all of them... But then, when was the last time you heard a Republican who cared about actual reality?
