ANY site that has auto-play music annoys me.

...especially when I've got internet radio going, which is very often.

The worst are the talking/musical Flash ads that have no off or mute button.

I agree. I usually have my ear plugs in and when the music kicks in, it always seems to be on volume 10. Maxed out.

It is annoying, especially if I'm listening to my own music and I get bombarded with 1000s of Brit-Brit remixes.

Come on, I would agree in some instances, especially if you suddenly feel like you're in a dance club, but some music is very soothing.

...just a thought, but isn't this what the volume control is for?

FAIL. Like many have already pointed out, we are listening to streaming music or tv shows while online.

Guys with auto-play on their profile get a big fat FAIL.

heres a thought, leave your playlist up and let ppl decide if they would like to listen.

Youtube videos offer this option right out since you have to click to play the clip

Back in the time of Myspace (the before time, the long long ago), I always kept my computer muted while browsing, because so many people had those goddamn annoying auto-playing music widgets. (There was a setting to keep them from auto-starting, but it didn't fucking work.)

Play music on your own goddamn computer, not mine. If anything, it's a turnoff when I'm browsing your profile and I see that you have "Coldplay" in the mix.

Oh for God's sake boys! It's like complaining if somebody actually answers the door at Halloween....yeeesh!

Keep your earbuds in, stay indoors, don't go out, and enjoy finding new ways to insulate yourselves from hearing anything but what you so carefully select and edit together in a preciously orchestrated and over-controlled life.

I have several songs on my profile that mean something to ME. I have selected NOT to have it play unless it is requested by the viewer.
AND, if you don't want to hear my music, but find something else of interest on my profile...enjoy your visit.

Hon, if music scares you... I think you might seek some professional help!! icon_lol.gif

some people want you to listen to their songs(a), which i think is annoying, especially when youre listening to music on your computer or sometimes you have more than one profile open and they all have their playlists on a, it pretty much forces you to close their page asap, regardless their taste for music.
