They'll be back to a variation of the original soon enough. Attempts at radically changing hers and Superman's costumes in the past never go over well and never last. Her costume is too iconic and has become a part of popular culture as well as the character's identity. Even though I prefer Marvel characters, I recognize the core DC characters', Bats, Superman and WW, looks are entrenched in the American psyche. Change the size of a cape or symbol here or there and nobody much cares, fuck with the overall look and you got trouble.

Oh no I meant when they DO work on the movie, this her new costume for the comics!

The movie will be live action probally, I mean why not go all out? It all leads up to the Justice Leauge movie, just like how Iron man/Hulk/Captain America lead up to the Avengers

no one has said yes to it yet. the script (what i was told) is a kiss of death script. it sucks, not realistic and its hard to fill the shoes. everyone approached said PASS

Yeah, they tried this once before, back when she lost her powers....(issue # 175 and also JLA # 71 circa 1969) and it didn't last.

Now if they can REMOVE the leggings off of Batman and Robin (so you can see their hairy muscular thighs), I wouldn't mind the Wonder Woman change. icon_razz.gif

I believe this animated movie already came out....Warner Bros made the movie...Kerri Russel and Rosario Dawson do the voice of Wonder Woman and Artemis.

I like it, but then again I'm a big fan of Jim Lee and not so much a fan of DC, so I'm sorta biased.

It was actually pretty good. People die in it and they don't shy away from blood. It was a lot darker than the usual WB/DC adaptations. The Cheetah at the end was a nice touch too.

I don't like it all that much. It looks like old school Black Canary mixed with the current look Gypsy is sporting. It looks boring and busy all at the same time.

I also read the comic - have since Heinberg and Dodson's run, and I didn't like JMS's story in WW 600 that is the reason for this new look. It's not the WW I want to read.

This isn't all that new, Wonder Woman had a similar look back in the either the late 80s or 90s when they did this Space Pirate like story arch with her. She had long pants, a jacket and all.

It won't last that long either way, Spider-Man is probably the best example.

He has been Black and White costumed, Scarlet Spider, 90's redone blue and red costume, Iron Spidey, and he always goes back to the original.

Arguably Rouge of the X-men has probably one of the few characters that has changed looks, from the Southern Daisy Duke girl to the Anna Paquin hood and cloak look.
