Do you ever look down the list of thread titles here and think to yourself "OMG how shallow and stupid we all are!"

The 2 most annoying type of threads are: shallow ones and stupid ones.

    Examples:
SHALLOW: The guy I'm dating has some hair on the big toe, should I dump him?

STUPID: Should I be using more than 8 toilet paper squares when I wipe my ass?

    Enough said.

    Of course not.
    "All" is far too encompassing.
Actually, there are very few "shallow and stupid" guys, here.
Anyway, we're mostly here just to have a little fun.

I have noticed a trend lately.

    For instance, this thread:

"Is a gay man with a lot of stretch marks undatable?”

My thoughts include a combination of this:

I don't think ALL the guys are shallow and stupid ALL the time but there are threads that I have to make sure I stay away from because just the title seems to stupid, superficial and TOTALLY irrelevant that I know I'd post something on there that would piss them off.

Just one recent example (there are more)

[quote] "Is a gay man with a lot of stretch marks undatable?” [quote]

Then again answering this thread could possibly prove the same thing but too late I've already started typing.

Yes. But sometimes it's fun to be shallow. What's the point in life if everything's going to be intricately deep and complicated.

    Rarely.

However, when I see a thread wondering if guys in flip flops are hot, I roll my eyes.

We already know they are so why start something so redundant.

"VGL looking for other VGL guys"

    or

"Only interested in other hot guys"

Yes. I find both to be vain and shallow and I usually avoid those people

Since this isn't the "Deep talk about politics, religion, philosophy and other serious topics" board, it doesn't bother me.

    Very Good Looking.

OH! well shit that is vain. i feel liek thats a really akward position to put the people that might respond in. Given im a pretty confident person and i would even call myself good looking, but im not sure if id have the balls to respond to someone who said they only wanted to hear form VGL people
