If you know anyone thats on Meth..show them these stills....I think it would be a powerful tool to give them a wakeup call. One thing that bothers me is that every one ...had a cold sore and open wounds after a long period of usage. So is it safe to assume that each of these individuals..did anything to score this drug? And another thing..it really transform you physically.

    Or ...

Take pictures of them for a year or so and show them the difference. That is a wakeup call. Showing them that picture will only make them say "hehe, that one looks like my sister."

I met a 28 yr old female drug addict at work two weeks ago that looked like she was in her fifties! yes drugs in no time can make you look twice your age in most people.

its their choice, im all for them destroying their lives(if thats what they want to do).

we all learn drugs are bad, the education is drilled into us all, if someone decides to divulge, well nature calls that natural selection. .

If it was someone I knew and loved I would try to help them out and show them the error of their ways.

As for complete strangers, I deeply sympathize with them but I figure they are doing the world a favor by slowly offing themselves. Sadly enough it's a slow process and one can only hope they stop and realize the pain and suffering they are causing their selves and others before it's too late. You really do hope but the realization of drug use, especially something like Meth, is that you know not everyone is gonna make it and those that do aren't ever gonna be the same.

and im all for people self-identifying themselves as morons by using multi-syllable words that they clearly have no idea the meaning of.

divulge means to make known... perhaps drugs would actually help, in your case.

A hairstylist and some cover-up and all those people would look a-ok. ;)

Sad. I think the problem is all the people who use and don't look like that. It's easy to be, "look how gross these people are", but the people offering that shit have been users for a while and they don't look like that.

Drug propaganda like that sucks at preventing people from starting.

It's just like steroids; we all know the worst case scenario and everyone goes, "ewww i would never" but in the real world, that's not generally what the case presents itself as... juicers are hot, muscled, and look nothing like the worst case... so it comes down to morality.

Are drugs ok? I doubt it, I wouldn't do meth myself... but that shit all floats in the same area of rhetoric. "LOOK HOW BAD IT IS", then when you're presented with the opportunity, everyone's shining and happy...and it's much more enticing. So lets junk the shitty propaganda and just focus on the facts:

Meth is terrible because it is physically addictive. Once you're on, you're hooked and it plays the piper behind the reptilian part of your brain and you think you're in control of who you are...but you're not. It doesn't just wreck your life, it wrecks the life of your family, your friends, all the people you're supposed to be there for. Don't be a pathetic loser; do something constructive and stop feeling sorry for yourself icon_smile.gif Don't. Ever. Do. Meth.

fyi, 'diction' generally refers to one's stylistic word choice, not the ability or inability to use words properly.

i can't really argue what you said??? you said that you are "all for these addicts destroying their lives, if that's what they want to do." you honestly think that's what they want to do???... right, because there's nothing people want to do more than destroy their own lives.

my advice to you: don't try and get into discussions about things you clearly know nothing about, and an even better idea would be for you to avoid trying to express yourself using the english language, as your grasp of it is tenuous, at best

Sure it does. It's fabricated, and you'll want to do it again, and again, and again. And then one day you wake up and you have nothing left except that feeling. And maybe that feeling is worth trashing everything else... but i don't want to find out, cuz if I like it, it's game over.

I've tried a few substances... but I think meth is def's one that i'll leave on the high shelf.

I've seen some clients strung out on meth...it's really upsetting for me, because it's wreaking havoc on them like no one's business. icon_sad.gif

However, you might be humbled if you have to deal with someone who has a drug/alcohol addiction.

Technical, hunter, chaos does have a point. Apparently those people do want to destroy their lives if they are gonna be using Meth, which literally destroys the body and mind. No good comes from Meth. There are no happy stories or happy endings about it unless you wanna count the people who woke up and recovered and turned over a new leaf meaning Meth scared them straight and they are now on the path to a better life without it.

I'll take in consideration that you are a little drunk but if you are gonna bash on someone for the usage (or rather lack of usage) for the English language then the least you could do is use proper grammar and punctuation yourself and by that I mean using lower and upper case letters as needed and maybe add a period at the end of a sentence. icon_biggrin.gif
