Bigy11 saidohh and by the way southbeach you do know that congress is at a stalemate right they democrats had the majority for like 4months
The Democrats still have a majority in the House and the Senate.
They had (in effect) a super-majority in the Senate up until dear old Uncle Teddy passed away 4 months ago. That's a super-majority for more than 12 months.
Anyway.. thanks for being respectful and civil in your comments, Bigy11. You are a much classier person than the Mr. Made N. USA.
That is a blatant lie. Democrats never had more than 58 votes in the present Senate, a super majority requiring 60. There are 2 other Independent Senators, that include the whack-job Joe Lieberman, who have joined the Democratic caucus, meaning that they sometimes vote with the 58 Democrats. But not always.
So that you continue to lie about Democrats being able to do anything they want in Congress, and any legislative failures are by choice. Aside from Democrats not having a filibustrer-proof majority, you deliberately overlook other Senate procedures that allow minority Republicans to block most legislation.
But you do parrot the party line, that assumes most Americans will not realize that Democrats are being blocked by Republicans in the Senate. A propaganda that says Democrats have chosen not to advance certain programs, because they would if they wanted to, having an alleged complete majority.
That is a Republican lie you repeat. Republicans in Congress block legislation, and agents like you then say these legislative failures are due to Democrats not advancing them. You deny that Democrats do NOT have a super-majority in the Senate, to do whatever they wish.
WTF??? You state that the party that blocks the Democrats is not to blame, but rather their victims are at fault. You apparently live in some kind of alternate universe, where logic is reversed.
But you are consistent, harping on this false claim that Democrats have absolute control of Congress. That is the message Republicans want put out, so that voters will hold Democrats responsible for Congressional failures. even though they are being engineered by Republicans.
Deliberately break the system, then blame it on the other guy. A clever tactic, if it didn't mean untold suffering for ordinary citizens. But when did citizens ever matter to Republicans?
