Life is too short to listen to people discuss politics.

    YES!

But if you notice... the 24-hour news channels and talk radio care mainly about ratings.

Bipartisanship, trying to understand "the other side," brainstorming possible solutions for political issues, etc. would not yield great rating in this divided country of ours.

The media fuels our polarized country and polarized people feed the ratings machines which drives the media.

....or you can change the channel to reruns of Mother Mary Angelica reciting the rosary and decrying liberals doing the devils work.

    Wait....could that be RJ's own southbeach1500? In drag? icon_biggrin.gif

No, because I'm usually already doing something constructive instead of listening to stupid political debates. icon_razz.gif

I think that's something you might hear in a dictatorship.

personally i dont like any of them but i think its better then a dictatorship

alot of rich guy who sponsor major companys talking about what we want to happen when its those billion dollar companys pushing their vote...

then every 4 years these people spend billions and billions of dollars to acheive votes but who can tell the biggest lie (i will fix the eeconomy..i will change the economy) and during that time they spend no money help on the nation then they get into office or stay in office and ovious lies they promest are impossiable to keep.. maybe next election someones will say i will elimanate all crime to win... -sigh-
    ok im done...
