if you do go see it, keep an eye out for yue's "penis hair".

and i heard it sucks donkey balls.

buy a ticket to Toy Story 3 and sneak into TLA, that way you won't feel bad for paying for crappy 3-D. if you end up liking it, buy 2 tickets to TLA later to make up for it.

Yea I snuck (sp?) in to see it and it was awful. Here's the thing, ppl. who have never watched the show say it was decent, and fans of the show hate it because it's just that bad. But decent just doesn't cut it these days so if you really wanna see it, I say wait for it to hit blockbuster or a one day rental shop.

The reasons I didn't like it:
The acting was awful, and the scene changes were so abrupt.
The script seemed choppy and the series was based on Asian culture and it
completely lacks Asian ppl (but there are Indian ppl...don't ask). On top of that many ppl. were snoring in the theater which is never a good sign.

I actually liked it. Acting can be awkward at times but the action and effects made it worth it for me. Def great too watch it at a movie theater if you dont have a hd bigscreen tv.

    Ang was adorable icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah uhm. There was no "Aang" in the movie. The name was changed and rewritten to "UNGH" Likewise with Sokka.

There were many things in the story line that were completely re-written from the original series that this movie was supposed to have been based on.

The 3d was LAUGHABLE. This is the first movie in history that actually laughs at the audience for being stupid enough to go see it.

M night IDIOT finally made a comedy. Congrats..

The acting was far beyond sub par it wasn't even funny. In the seires Sokka was supposed to be the comic relief. In the movie he lacked all humor..

Aang should have been funnier instead in the movie he was a whiney little bitch with his eyebrows up all the time on the verge of crying.

The fight scenes reminded me alot of Power rangers when they were "bending" WAY too much posing. Watch the series "Bending" actually made more sense..

Explinations in teh series were awesome.. Things in the movie made no sense.

Important figures were completely left out of the damn movie, like the famous archers that actually capture Aang that were hired by general Zao..

You have the fight scene that was removed when they finally get to the northern water tribe where Katara fights her gran grans former lover. One of the sub stories behind her damn neck chain..

The whole movie over all would be lucky to get an F.

Seriously.. The movie was crap. You'd have a more enjoyable time watching toy story 3.

First off, I've seen the entire series, and I really did enjoy the movie. It wasn't anything amazing, but I liked the movie overall. It started out with some really bad acting from most of the new faces to cinema which is probably the fault of the writers. The lines just really didn't fit what was happening. But, once the story started rolling, it was done very well.

There are some people who complained about the name pronunciation change, but the names come from Chinese and Japanese in which there isn't the English /ai/ diphthong, so they actually were being more authentic which I appreciated.

The main issue I had was that some of the bending scenes just didn't match up with the animation as well as they should. In the animated series, the individual movements of the bender were matched a lot closer to what happened with the element they were bending....the movie had the actors/actresses doing a lot more movements before anything occurred on screen. I also didn't like that the Kyoshi warriors were excluded, but in some ways I can understand since they were only in the 1st book for a short time. Hopefully, they'll pop up in the second.

In all, there could have been more slapstick humor, but I still enjoyed the movie. The few other changes can be over looked since they don't really harm the movie or the continuity of the series.

In my opinion, it's worth it to go see, but I don't think there's a need for the 3D. Watch it, love it or hate it....your choice.

Big fan of the TV show but seeing the movie was a waste of time. If you are not familiar with the TV show you can get lost in the story line because of how fast paced it is. There is going to be another one so prepare yourself.
