Delta is increasing all of their ACS staff globally. So if you don't see your city it may have already gone and been filled or is coming up. (I know for a fact San Diego already came and went, we hired 20 newbies.) They all start ready reserve 20-28 hours a week you do ticketing, gates (boarding flights ect), and baggage service (which I love because I get to do my homework in there in between flights). It pays decent more then minimum, you get to fly free as long as there are seats open. The people I work with in San Diego are a lot of fun and they come from other stations it sounds like the others are pretty good too.

If they like you and you can handle it and you pick it up fast, full time will most likely come avail after a few months. I was offered it but turned it down. School.

If you're interested in becoming a flight attendant those positions will be coming available end of the year since we will be adding new routes to Asia/Australia. So check it out.

As far as being gay and working at Delta, I've had no problem, I'm at the SAN station though. Delta did host the NY Pride this year, and I think they have the past couple. And they did at MSP this year too. They've also won awards for being the most accepting, which is surprising since their main headquarters is based out of the deep south, ohhh Atlanta.

Just thought I'd throw this job opportunity out there because it is a lot of fun, come home everyday with stories never boring.

Being a flight attendant is a part time job which doesn't pay enough to live on, except maybe if you're from Appalachia. You have no work schedule, in that you can be called any time of the day or night and ordered to show up in a short amount of time. Plus, you get to work with screaming babies.

Web - well, people do work as FAs. Some like it because they can travel.

    OP,

i cant believe you go to school full time and work 3 jobs and will have $70k this year for a down payment all on your own without inheritance or help from mom and dad, or US taxpayers AND you like lady gaga..

you are the ultimate DIY, independent gay man.. such a stud...

while I agree with Webster (who prefers to lazily "work" Unionized only so he can get free benefits/pensions via taxpayer assistance) that I don't want to work with screaming babies..

.... I find your work ethic so hot and lacking in the gay population especially at your age (well, actually there are a lot lazy oldies as well). I can only imagine the greater type of work you'll be doing in the future.

im guessing youre single and not looking given your schedule?

    /end of my gushing
