I don't dread aging, as a gay man; not at all.
I used to have the hope and expectation of living longer than my 96 year old grandmother did.
But, more and more, I feel like I'll never get there.

I don't dread getting older. I do dread the health problems that happen with age. That's part of the reason I'm keeping myself in the best shape possible, to delay those health problems as long as possible.

LOL Jake..
Nah.. not too concerned about it.. I'll know when it's time to hang it all up.
As long as all your equipment is working and there's someone out there that wants to use it.. what's to worry about?
Besides.. it's things like worrying that make us Look Old before our time.

Well you look much older than 6 now. I hope that doesn't offend you.

Nope x 2.

We've enjoyed every second of it, (even when life gets tough) and when life hands us lemons we make lemonade. The lines on our faces are like the lines of text on a page.

My "dread" isn't so much age driven as it is what I would be able to do or not do. I used to think 40 was going to be the same as death....now I am 50. I see other guys younger than me and think to myself "Dang if I let myself go like that I would hate it".... really has little to do with age.

I don't dread getting older. I take very good care of myself, I groom nicely, work-out a lot, eat healthy, and enjoy people not believing that I turned 40.

Well I've not been dreading it that long but I don't want to get old. Look what we get to look forward to. Incontinence, senility, body systems break down or stop working, dependence, medicaid/medicare, wrinkles and/or nursing homes. Such a bleak and gray future.

no...age is just a number! there are a lot of healthy, active seniors out there that can match any 20 year old anytime!

That's why I have started taking better care of myself. I plan to live forever. There is bound to be a cure for aging someday, right.

I forward to getting older. So far in my life things have gotten better with age so I'm under the impression that they will continue to.

I think the idea of getting old only worries me because I worry that my not-so-perfect health lifestyle right now won't make me live as long and as well as I would hope. I guess that's really motivation enough to keep at the healthy lifestlye while I'm entering my 20s later this month?

I don't mind getting older at all. As long as Im living a satisfying and fulfillng life, that's all that matters. There are too many children and young people dying of cancer and what have you, that I am very grateful for every year I have in my life. LIfe is amazing at any age.
