I didn't make it to the parade yesterday, but read this in the paper this morning.

My partner and I were there yesterday and it was fun for the first hour then it got annoying because the parade had to wait for the trolley buses to pass and prolonged the parade. None the less it was fun to see, I had expected it to be a bit more colorful then it was and more "out" there but it wasn't, much more like Ottawa's Pride Parade really. So I don't get it when my friends say "Oh Toronto's parade is WAY better, you'll see when you go!" Well I did and it wasn't grand by any means sure it was longer but the amount of waiting they done was the reason why.

Regardless of my little let down I still had fun this weekend in Toronto. The kick off was Cirque De Soliel at the Air Canada Centre icon_cool.gif

True patriot love, in all thy sons command!

I STILL would have loved to see the Queen do a pride parade while she was here...

Oh my God, that would have been hilarious!
