5 miles. Nice day here! Ran with a woman I know who's training for her first marathon. It was a slow, easy run.

Gloppy, good times in profile and also a runner here in his late 40's and love the same look as yourself...That is seeing the looks on some of the younger guys when you pass them and are running still strong and they are winded...Feel the same about placing in the top part of my age group but run for me also and a great time and try to do better with each race...even if only by a minute...that is always my goal is to do better both for me and my age group...good luck training for your marathon and hope you do well....

Saturday 7/3: 16.44 miles, 2hr15min58sec. I've had bad luck trying to break that 16 mile mark but saturday i finally did it. It helped that the weather was perfect, of course. Felt great until I hit the gym afterwards and saw my Gym Crush working out.

Monday 7/5: just preworkout warmup 3.1 miles, 21 min 47 sec. Not much to say about that except treadmill running is the depth of tedium.

LOL, thanks, but the crush already knows and isn't interested. Which is just as well as he's way out of my league in terms of body, looks, AND running ability!

I'm like the dog chasing the car - if I caught him I wouldn't know what do do with him.
