Does anyone watch the Drag Race? Listen to her music? Or have any of her books?

Is she too out there for anyone on RJ except me? lol

I really respect him as an out successful black gay man who does drag. Imagine the obstacles he had to face.

I admire RuPaul too just for like you said all the obstacles he faced and managed to get through. I also occasionally watch Drag Race.

Love RuPaul, have both his books, have watched Seasons 1 and 2 of Drag race and have become friends with one of the guys from Season 1. Also have a friend who is a celebrity impersonator trying to get on Drag race as a judge next season. icon_smile.gif

    HAHAHAHAHA!! That picture is great!!

I was never into nor ever understood the drag scene, but RuPaul definitely shows a great perspective on it through his fabulous wit and humor! I even own his first CD.

Ru has never gotten the recognition that she deserves. She's been werrrkin' this industry forever, and she still looks great! She used to do a morning show on KTU here in New York when I was a freshman in high school - loved me some Ru in the morning! icon_cool.gif

I luuuuuuuurv Ru! Drag Race is my guilty pleasure. And like any good reality show, it lends itself brilliantly to satire.

I'd liked him in "But I'm a Cheerleader" movie the most. He's not popular in my country, unfortunately, so I don't know much about this guy.

I love Ru. The best part of her Drag Race show is that when she has to kick a contestant off, she manages to find something gracious and constructive to say to them.
