Getting Motivated Again to Working Out Regularly

I stopped working out 5 weeks ago. It wasn't planned. It just happened. I got sick-- off and on, vacation. I indulged myself. Had a good time. But everyday lately, I'm telling myself that today will be the day to go back to the gym. Now I realized I've been saying that to myself for the last 3 weeks and have used every opportune excuse not to. What's your advice to get motivated again?

    Ask yourself :

Do I really want to keep working out ?

Wouldn't it be better to just do it randomly when I feel like it ?

Is it that important for me or could I spend all that time doing more relevant things for me ?

As weird and counter intuitive as it seems, honest really check usually helps getting motivation back a lot more than trying to convince yourself you should do something.

And if it doesn't work, and you decide to stop, great too, it means you were spending time on something not worth it for you.

Advice? . . . First, stand naked before a mirror, then go to the grocery store and look at all the hideous people . . . that should be enough motivation to last for years . . .
