    Hey,
So my hair (on my head lol).is getting drier and not as soft or smooth as when I was a teen.
Whats a good product to use to keep it looking healthy but not too slimy/ shiny?

Gel? Pomade? No clue. How often? Everyday? Will it make my hair more dry?icon_neutral.gif

Love your hair, but it might help not to colour it.

Do you already use a conditioner once a week? If not, try it out, you can read on the product label how it works.

a product with Olive Oil will help moisturize your scull and Hair... also, if you increase your vitamin E and Omega 3 intake, your hair (all over) will become more shiny.

is your conditioner a rinse out or can it function as a leave in (over night) conditioner? If it can be used as a leave in conditioner, leave it in and wrap your hair at night before you go to sleep. it will shine by the next day.

It doesn't harden your hair like some products and it still keeps it in place and even blowing in the wind, lol. It gives excellent styling capability. I give it a 10/10. I love it, so try it..icon_biggrin.gif

This product just came out at Lush that is perfect for dry, coarse hair. It moisturizes, softens and adds shine to the hair and makes it easier to style. I work for Lush, so I might be biased, but it's absolutely perfect for my hair. It's my favourite product to come out in a long while!

Right now I'm using Garnier Frutics products after a friend got me hip to them.

Their triple action Nutirent Spray is amazing and has a great sent to boot, I think it should help

When you jerk off rub your cum into your hair. It will help keep your hair soft and manageable.

Most conditioners you buy in a store really aren't good at all. I'd go to a salon (I do) and get conditioner that really is helpful to your cause. Make sure and tell them is you swim or what you do with your hair.

There is also some good "leave in" conditioner that helps with the summer sun.

Aveda's styling products for men are pretty good for drier hair, especially the styling cream. It leaves a nice shine.

I completely agree with Ricovelas. Garnier Frutcis is fantastic, it's cheap, and you can get it at any Target, Wal Mart or drug store.

What I use is Garnier Frutcis Leave in Conditioner. It is, as you can figure out by the name, a conditioner that you put in your hair after washing it, but you don't rinse it out. I take it to the gym with me and use it after I shower. I put on the conditioner, and then gel, and my hair shapes perfectly the way I want it.

This is the best stuff that money can buy. Its not cheap. But it is literally the best for color treated hair.
