I placed my first border with them last week, and it has been nothing but trouble. I am wondering if I was scammed?

    Anyone have trouble with them?

Anything Indian is wonderful, when you and if you finally get it. That's why I recommended Pensy's.

Find out who is the original manufacturer in India. Get in touch with them to know more. The site does not mention about it.

I would suggest you to get in touch with the original manufacturer in India, if you are looking for the right medicine. Creating a profile in Facebook is not a big deal.. If its a medicine from India.. why did they mention about Singapore office alone...? they haven't mentioned about their Indian office.. Something fishy...

Same with the guy who made the single comment on that site: "This place is fly-by-night. they get your money then refuse to answer phone calls."

Could have been, herb-smoking is sacred in india.. its done by mendicant priests, in the name of the god Shiva, on the day of that lord, its done all night in the temples dedicated to him..

I heard stories in Nepal, of Buddha living off of three herb seeds a day while he was in fasting

Many Buddhist monks and Hindu priests claim it to be a means of reaching enlightenment, or unity with the Divine

They call it "ganja", it grew by the side of the road where I was living in Kathmandu, most of my friends there smoked it every day, and it was legal until the US got wind of 70's hippies going there to smoke en masse...

the Rastafarians (think reggae and Bob Marley) got the tradition later, thanks to the indian indentured labourers that brought much of the Indian traditions to the Caribbean region

Singapore is WAY more reliable than India.. singapore has tight regulations, which India doesnt... they will make sure you get the quality stuff, because other indian stuff is so full of fakes its depressing (Ive had fake whisky, fake cigarettes, fake beer , BLEGH)

To the best of my knowledge, all their products are shipped from the US. Their pricing is in US Dollars, but it is their Singapore office you pay. This is where my problems began.

There have also been problems with Ayurvedic herbs from India being contaminated with heavy metals.

I do agree with you. Even we Indians say " Except ones parents, one can find duplicate of everything in India"

But I trust me, the best ayurveda is practiced in Kerala. The southern most state of India. You may contact http://www.nagarjun.com/ or http://www.aryavaidyasala.com/

They are pioneers in ayurveda. You can very well trust them. If at all there are some new ayurvedic medicines you can get all the details from either of them.

I was looking into Vicco tooth powder which contains over 18 different ayurvedic herbs and even ordered it on E-bay but read some studies where they said they found traces of tobacco in the powder. I couldn't find any other studies that refuted the claim. So I wound up throwing it away.
