    L-Glutamine

Has anyone here ever used L-Glutamine? I understand it's great to take after a workout.

My trainer had me start taking it when I started a cut. Not only have i retained a lot of my muscle mass that I had before the cut, but I feel that my muscles recover faster.

i'm just saying i've noticed that i retained a lot more than in the last cut i did without it. there could be other factors in there too.

It's also known to be used in immune function. Before I started supplementing with it I noticed that if I pushed myself too hard, i'd end up getting sick. I've been using it for about a year now, and its really helped. I wouldn't train without. I'd consider it far more beneficial and necessary to training then creatine.

it's great.. trust me take it at night before bed it does the best work that way.
muscle repair occurs during sleep the most and the glutamine is utilized then,

    it works

agrees with all the comments above, I take a liquid form... doesnt taste great but its a quick shooter before bed and it's really helped with recovery and joint flexibility. Good luck man, can't hurt... give it a try.

My protein powder has glutamine, so I mix it with soy milk and drink it after workouts and before I sleep. At bedtime I also take an additional tablet of L Glutamine. It does work.
