Well it finally happened. Everyone in my office has been sick for the last month and I finally joined the cult. Started getting sick yesterday. Headach sinus problems and congestion.
That being said I hate to disrup my training just because of a cold. A big part of me says just pretend your not sick and keep training. I have done that in the past. Just wandering oes training really prolong your sickness and recovery?
What do you guys think? What have you done in the past?

Dont work out. You will get better faster if you let the body put its energy to healing. Your body isnt gonna deteriorate if you rest. And drink plenty of juice!

I know i'm new to the game but I recommend rest too. Two weeks ago I went on my daily run with what I assumed was the beginning of an acute sinus infection. I felt amazing after I got done and actually felt as though I just had a case of the sniffles to begin with but the next morning was hell. I had not only a sinus infection but some extreme chest congestion and after visiting the clinic I slept for the next 2 days. It may have just been a coincidence but I agree with funneling the orange juice and enjoying a light sick day rather than some harsh deathbed days.

Rest. Dont take that cold to the gym and give it to everyone else. Please!
