    Star Trek

If you had your choice to play the captain of a starship, who would that be?

Captain Pike, Captain Kirk, Captain Picard, Captain Sisko, Captain Janeway or Captain Archer? and why?

Captain Pickard.. he oozed testosterone. Kirk was a pussy and Janeway's testosterone was medically administered

What about Capt. Christopher Pike, before his accident that put him in the life-support mobility unit...? Star Trek TOS, 2-part pilot episodes...?

i'd have to go with captain sisko. he may not have been on the defiant that much, but he was the hottest and coolest of all starfleet captains.

I'd have to go with Picard. We both share a lot of characteristics to the point it isn't funny. I used to dream of becoming an archaeologist... so did Picard. We both fall on the introverted side. I am fairly certain I'll eventually be bald... should I say more? I love Janeway, but I have too much in common with Picard. I do think I would probably be a little more 'easy going' in the way Janeway became over the course of the Voyager series though.

Mosdef Picard. Man had class and an air of austerity around him. And, he always kept cool under pressure, something I don't do well in.

And as previously mentioned, he oozed testosterone.

I'd go with Janeway. She had a more diverse crew dealing with even greater dangers than your average starship captain. She was able to blend both military leader with maternal caretaker. She could both kick ass and provide a shoulder to cry on.

Joining the Janeway crowd, non of the other captains were stranded in the delta quadrant with crazy aliens... lol... uber geeky.

yeah, Janeway was a real pioneer. It's really difficult for me to say which one I like more... Janeway or Picard. Nonetheless, I love all the ST series, but these two captains definitely stand out, at least to me icon_biggrin.gif

How many captains can say they were assimilated by the Borg, and came back?

Janeway was crazy! EQUINOX should have been a season long story arc!
