Yes please don't compare her to Elton John...not only is she more genuine but she is more compassionate and truer to the Gay community.

I'm not a GaGa fan or "little monster" as they are embarrassingly labeled; however, this performance is GREAT

Could be wrong but I believe she was referring to the audience bc she said she gets distracted by their clothes when she's on stage. I don't take Meredith as a Gaga concert attendee but we'll never know due to the camera work.

This song sucks ass but she's still amazing. I love that SHE makes her own music and it's recognized. It's rare these days among pop artists.

i keep hearing people say that she's had 5 or 6 number ones. the only two i see that went number 1 were "just dance" and "poker face." where the hyperbole and why?

There really is no comparison to Elton John.

Yes, she is very kitschy, and quite the showman (showperson?)

But I believe that she is much more versatile than EJ. She can go from a soft acoustic ballad to bringing down the house with a rocking dance number, in less than a heartbeat. She is a genuine talent.

Elton stays behind his piano. He is, after all, the piano man. never been a big fan. icon_eek.gificon_confused.gif

    Just my opinion. Don't hate.

Wow... what an incredible performance. It's such a rare treat to have female pop/rock talent emerge from this generation who plays instruments, writes great music and gives amazing live performances.

    She's the real deal.

    Thanks for sharing!

I'm pretty sure the Piano Man is Billy Joel

it's not hyperbole. yes, she has only had two singles reach the number one spot overall, but the other singles were number one on the billboard top 40 pop chart.

The outfit was reminiscent of Selena a bit..

The song was good, glad to hear she has an other sound other than dance/party music.
